You need to be physically located in one of these states at the time of your visit. Dr. Guier is licensed in all four.
Video visits work well for
- New joint pain or a recent injury you want evaluated
- Reviewing X-ray, MRI or CT results
- Second opinions on a diagnosis or recommended surgery
- Follow-up visits and recovery check-ins
- Home exercise and physical therapy guidance
You may need to come in person if
- Dr. Guier needs to examine the joint hands-on
- You need new X-rays or other imaging
- You may need an injection or a procedure
If a video visit isn't enough, Dr. Guier will tell you and help you set up next steps.
For a severe injury, an obvious deformity, or numbness that won't go away, go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.

Get the most from your visit
- Wear clothes that let you show the joint, like shorts or a tank top
- Pick a quiet, private room with good light
- Leave space to stand, walk and move the joint on camera
- Charge your device and test your camera and microphone
- Keep a list of your medications and past surgeries nearby
