What happens at your first visit

Your story
Dr. Guier asks about your symptoms, how the problem started, and what you want to get back to.

Exam
He examines the joint or area, checking movement, strength and stability.

Imaging review
He goes over your X-rays or MRI with you, using diagrams and models so it makes sense.

Your options
You'll talk through treatment choices, from rest and physical therapy to injections or surgery.

Your plan
You leave knowing the next step and how to reach the office with questions.
What to bring
- Government-issued photo ID
- Insurance card, front and back
- X-ray, MRI or CT reports, and image discs or portal access if you have them
- A list of your medications and allergies
- Names of other doctors treating the same problem
Before you arrive
- Our office will send your new patient forms before your visit.
- Plan to arrive 15 minutes early.
- Wear or bring clothes that make the joint easy to examine.

Dr. Guier speaks English, French and German. Let our office know if you need other language help.
